Hey! How's your February going? We've been occasionally hearing that people are embracing the weather because they haven't been able to travel. How's it been for you? Have you been enjoying this winter? Children's Dental Health Month
We have to start with Children's Dental Health month because it's all about the kids, right!? With stay-at-home orders and limits to exposure, our regular visits to classes have been cancelled this year. We struggled to figure out what to do about this. One of our passions is oral health education and it felt like we could not forgo this aspect, especially this year!
What are we doing to replace class visits?
We ended up teaming up with an educator and created some primary resources all about teeth and oral health. We used fun activities to incorporate basic skills like mathematics to teach oral health. After this, we realized it would also be something great to give away to our educators who've been carrying the load of too many in this last year. We've created these resources for everyone to use and you can get them by clicking on the button. Share them with your child's educator, or print them off at home and use them to teach your children about their oral health. We are passing the baton to our community to work together to make strong, healthy smiles for a lifetime.

South Simcoe Physiotherapy - @southsimcoephysio they've been posting some great content and giving great ideas on things to do during the stay-at-home order! We've been loving them so much we've shared their posts often.
The Pretty Pink Studio - @theprettypinkstudio . The creations by Denise are absolutely incredible! We love her artwork and her fun style. Maybe we should get us to make us some cards! What do you think?
Things going on around the office
We are open as usual
Thankfully, we have been able to open this stay-at-home order. We are able to see patients pretty much as we have been. The difference this time was we have access to the proper PPE to treat all of our patients safely. Please call us if you have ANY questions or concerns about coming in. We are happy to talk to you.

When you come in for your cleaning, you might notice you are heading to a new chair! Dr. Rob is operating out of the two front rooms and our hygienists, Jen, Nicole, and Laura are operating out of the back two. We've been quite surprised how even the little ones seem to notice they are going to a different room!
Dr. Rob is getting excited about golf.
With March approaching, Dr. Rob is getting excited to go golfing again. Especially now that the new golf balls have arrived!
